Note:
1. The Counselling is likely to be held in the Senior Teachers’ Common Room of Indira Gandhi Vidya Bhawan, M.D.University, Rohtak. The candidates should bring all original documents along with one set of attested photocopy and a recent photograph.
2. The fee of M.Ed course is Rs.6495/- in the Department of Education and Rs.38500/- (subject to change by State Fee Committee) +Rs.3590/- as University Charges for Colleges of Education running M.Ed course on self finance basis.
3. Rs.5000/- shall have to be deposited with the University Cashier on the date of admission and the r e m a i n i n g f e e s h a l l b e d e p o s i t e d w i t h t h e C o l l e g e c o n c e r n e d w i t h i n t h re e d a y s o f t h e Counselling.
4. No College should charge excess fee or capitation fee from any candidate.

VACANCIES: 3726+2000 Constables in Punjab Police
Applications are invited from Male and female candidates for filling up of the 3726 of Male and 2000 Female posts in the District Police Cadre in the rank of constable in Punjab Police.
Pay Scale-Pay Band- 2 = Pay Band 5910-20200+Grade pay Rs. 2000. The posts shall also carry other allowances as admissible under Govt. instructions/rules. The selected candidates will be included under ‘Defined Contributory Pension Scheme’ of the State Govt.
Reservation-As per instructions issued by the Government from time to time, 25% seats for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, 12% seats for Backward Classes, 13% seats for Ex-Servicemen & 1% seat for Wards of Freedom Fighters are reserved.
Educational qualifications: The minimum educational qualification for recruitment is 10+2 in any discipline or equivalent. It is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as compulsory/optional subject. However, in case of Ex-Servicemen the minimum educational qualification will be matriculation.
Age-The minimum and maximum age for recruitment shall be 18 years and 25 years respectively. The cut off date shall be 01.01.2011. Relaxation in upper age limit in case of Scheduled Casts/Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes shall be as prescribed by the Government.Ex-Servicemen shall be given relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years plus the number of years of service rendered in the Defence Forces. However, the period between discharge from defence services and re-employment should not exceed 24 months (2 years).
Selection Process:Selection shall be made by the District Recruitment Board in case of male candidates and Central recruitment Board for females’ candidates. Selection process would comprise of three phases (A) Physical Measurement,(B) Physical Efficiency Test,(C) Interview.Application Form can be obtained by paying Rs. 100/- cash w.e.f. 27.09.2011 to 17.10.2011
on all working days during office hours (9.00 a.m. to 1.30 P.M and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.) from the Office of Police Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police in all Districts of Punjab.
Last date-The application received after 5.00 P.M on 17.10.2011 and in case shall not be considered.
