Superseding all earlier notifications issued by the DSSSB, the Board will hold Combined Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and Main Examination (Descriptive Type) in one go in 3 hours duration
i.e. one hour for Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) followed by Main Examination (Descriptive
Type) for the following post codes on the dates shown against each as per the Examination Schedule
given hereunder. The detailed scheme of examination, test components, syllabus and general
instructions for candidates in respect of these post codes are available at the official website of
DSSSB i.e. http://dsssb.delhigovt.nic.in. It is also notified that the Preliminary Examination (Objective
Type) will be of qualifying nature and the candidates shortlisted shall be restricted to maximum of 6 to
10 times of the no. of vacancies including bracketed candidates , if any and availability of eligible
candidates. The final merit shall be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates i.e. marks
secured in Main Examination (Descriptive Type) subject to qualifying Skill Test/Typing Test/ Physical
Endurance Test etc. wherever applicable.
The Question-cum-Answer Booklet of Main Examination (Descriptive Type) will be evaluated only of
those candidates who qualify Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) based on above criteria. The
minimum cutoff marks for qualifying Preliminary Exam (Objective Type) and Main Exam (Descriptive
Type) shall be as follows:

जुलाई में एचटेट परीक्षा की तैयारी
| भिवानी त्न हरियाणा विद्यालय शिक्षा बोर्ड जुलाई में एचटेट परीक्षा का आयोजन कराने जा रहा है। बोर्ड सचिव डीके बेहरा ने बताया कि बोर्ड ने एचटेट परीक्षा के लिए तैयारियां शुरू कर दी हैं। बोर्ड इससे पहले अक्टूबर 2008, जुलाई 2009, दिसंबर 2009 और दिसंबर 2011 में यह परीक्षा करा चुका है। अक्टूबर 2008 में कराई गई परीक्षा में 1.73 लाख, जुलाई 2009 में 1.31 लाख, दिसंबर 2009 में 1.62 लाख और दिसंबर 2011 में 4.32 लाख परीक्षार्थी शामिल हुए थे। अक्टूबर 2008 में आयोजित की गई परीक्षा में जेबीटी कैटेगरी में 20.06 फीसदी, मास्टर कैटेगरी में 20.11 फीसदी, प्राध्यापक कैटेगरी में 20.21 फीसदी, जुलाई 2009 की एच टेट परीक्षा में जेबीटी में 37.21 फीसदी, मास्टर कैटेगरी में 5.19 फीसदी, प्राध्यापक कैटेगरी में 16.01 फीसदी, दिसंबर 2009 की परीक्षा में जेबीटी कैटेगरी में 12.27 फीसदी, मास्टर कैटेगरी में 6.02 फीसदी व प्राध्यापक कैटेगरी में 15.87 फीसदी और नवंबर 2011 की परीक्षा में जेबीटी कैटेगरी में 19.86 फीसदी, मास्टर कैटेगरी में 15.71 फीसदी व प्राध्यापक कैटेगरी में 15.01 फीसदी परीक्षार्थी पास हुए थे। |

Postponement of CTET 2012 Exam at Chandigarh

On the advise of the Election Commission of India, the CBSE has further postponed the CTET‐JAN 2012 Examination, at Chandigarh/Panchkula/Mohali, besides in the states of Manipur, Punjab and Uttrakhand where the examination has already been postponed on account of General Election for Legislative Assemblies in these states.
The CTET‐Jan 2012 at Chandigarh will now be held on 5th May 2012 (Saturday). The details of the postponement of examination are as follows. The Press Notes are also available on CBSE website i.e. www.cbse.nic.in.

Election Commission of India has advised CBSE that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test – JAN 2012 scheduled to be held on 29/01/2012 in the states of Manipur, Punjab and Uttarakhand may to be postponed on account of General Election for Legislative Assemblies in these states. Under this circumstances, the Central Teachers Eligibility Test – JAN 2012 in the above states are postponed to 5th May, 2012 (Saturday). The details of the postponed examination are as follows:

In continuation of Commission’s Notice dated 29.12.2011 which published in various Newspapers regarding holding of Written Test on 29.1.2012 at various District headquarters for the post of Taxation Inspector & Excise Inspector (Excise & Taxation Department, Haryana) Advt. No. 3/2010, Cat. No. 6 & 5. It is notified for the information of the eligible candidates that due to clashing of HSSC Examination Centers at Kurukshetra & Panchkula with CTET Examination conducted by CBSE, New Delhi on 29.1.2012 & being most of common candidates in both the examinations, the Commission has decided to cancel the examination for the post of Taxation Inspector & Excise Inspector (Excise & Taxation Department, Haryana) on administrative grounds and in public interest.

Online applications are invited for All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination 2012 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to 15% of the total seats for Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of ANDHRA PRADESH and JAMMU & KASHMIR:-
1. Preliminary Examination - 1st April, 2012 (Sunday)
2. Final Examination - 13th May, 2012 (Sunday)

(i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at
the time of admission or will complete the

(ii) The upper age limit for All India PreMedical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination
is 25 years as on 31
st December of the year
of the entrance examination. Further
provided that upper age limit shall be
relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the
candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled
Tribes/Other Backward Classes.
(iii) The candidate must have passed in the
subjects of Physics, Chemistry,
Biology/Bio-technology and English
individually and must have obtained a
minimum of 50% marks taken together in
Physics, Chemistry and Biology/
Bio-technology at the qualifying
examination. In respect of candidates
belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled
Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the
marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology/Bio-technology taken together in
qualifying examination be 40% instead of
50% for General Candidates. Further, for
persons for locomotory disability of lower
limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for
General-PH and 40% marks for SCPH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those
who are appearing plus two examination in
2012 can also appear for the entrance test
provisionally subject to their fulfilling the
conditions later.
