HARYANA: Re-employment of Teachers of Government Schools after their Retirement

Notification
The 26th April, 2011

No. 15/136-2010- CO (1).—The Governor of Haryana is pleased to order for re-employment of Teachers of Government Schools after their retirement in the same school till the end of the academic session i.e. up to 31st March on the following terms and conditions:-
1.         It will be applicable to Principals, Head Masters, Masters, C&V Teachers, Head Teachers and J.B.T. Teachers working in School Education Department.
2.         It will be the prerogative of the State Government to re-employ the teachers on case to case basis.
3.         The re-employment will be from the date of retirement of teacher till and end of academic session i.e. up to 31st March or till the department is able to fill the post through new recruitment. .
4.         The re-employment of the teachers will be made on need basis, keeping in view the factors such as workload and student teacher ratio etc.
5.         The re-employment cases of the teachers will be sent as under:
(A) In Case of Principal/Headmaster/Lecturer the cases will be sent by the District Education Officer concerned to the Director Secondary Education who will decide each case at his own level.
(B) In case of Masters and C&V Teachers the cases will be sent by the Heads of Institutions (Principal/Headmaster) to the District Education Officer concerned who will decide each case at his own level under intimation to Director Secondary Education.
(C) In case of JBT Teacher/Head Teacher the cases will be sent by the Block Education Officers concerned to the District Elementary Education Officer who will decide each case at his own level under intimation to Director Elementary Education.
6.         The case of each retiring teacher will be sent two months prior to the retirement of the teacher to the concerned as per para 5 above. While sending the case, the following details will also be supplied:-
No. of Sanctioned post in the relevant subject in the school
No. of teachers working in the relevant subject in the school
Total Number of students of the subject in the school (Class-wise)
No. of Section
No. of Period per week

7.         The appropriate authority will accord sanction in the case within 15 days of receiving the case and at least 30 days before the date of retirement of the said teacher.
8.         The salary will be paid as per provisions of CSR Vol.-II i.e. last pay drawn minus pension.
9.         Each case must fulfill eligibility conditions as under:
(a) There is no adverse remark regarding integrity during last three years service and service record during last three years is good or better than that.
(b) No charge sheet U/R 7 or 8 of Haryana Civil Service (Punishment and Appeal) Rules 1987 is pending against the incumbent
(c) Medical Fitness Certificate from the Government Medical Officer.
(d) No case involving moral turpitude is pending and no charges have been framed by the competent court.
